Win A Copy Of A New Zine For Teens, SMALLER TOWN — Complete With Limited Edition Cassette

The other week, I wrote about going punk-rock and starting my own small press/record label to self-publish my debut YA novel, PLACID GIRL. Now, I’m ready to announce the first offering from All Ages Press: SMALLER TOWN, the first in a series of ‘zines for teens — the inaugural edition of which comes with a limited-edition cassette EP courtesy of new band Motel TV.

Oh, and guess what — you can win a ‘zine and tape RIGHT NOW.

So what are you getting, friends, when you score one of these limited edition ‘zines and tapes? On the print side, you get a tome of tales of suburban horrors and dreams courtesy of musicians, artists and writers including: Me (Brenna Ehrlich), Ryan Kattner (of the band Man Man), Daniel Pujol (of the band PUJOL), Nimai Larson (of Prince Rama), ATWN contributor Tonya Kuper (author of ANOMALY), author Sarah McCarry (ALL OUR PRETTY SONGS, DIRTY WINGS), author and musician Rich Freitas, astrologer Licorice Root, author Tao Lin (SHOPLIFTING AT AMERICAN APPAREL), artist Barbara Geoghegan and more…

As for music, you’ll be getting in early on Motel TV, a new project from garage pop musician Dave Otto (formerly Slam Donahue). You can check out the first track from the EP, “Lost Forever,” here.

Click here for your chance to win! All you have to do is tweet. (Ended) Supplies are way limited because, you know, DIY and whatnot. In the meantime, here’s a playlist of jams for you that have inspired my upcoming 2016 debut novel, PLACID GIRL:
